From the second our pups are born with mommy doodle in a nice closed bedroom setting, our pups are handled and loved, in order to produce loving smart  pups ,we are there ! 

From Birth to 8 weeks old they are picked up and stimulated from head to toes.  We never have complaints that our puppies are not socialized. You can not raise pups in a kennel type environment.

 

We do not believe in kennel rearing. However mom and pups are protected in their own spaces.

Puppies get wormed 2,4,6,8 weeks. Puppies get Coccciada prevention wormer at 6 weeks old

 

Week 1- handled several times day, cleaned bedding changed

Week 2 to 3 - Eyes and ears open, they can hear you!

Week 3-4 They are introducd to mush food with Karbo Essenials Goats Milk Rice Cerel and ground up puppy Fromm Puppy Food.

Week 5-6  Pups are given a Neopar shot booster before 8 wk shot and vet visit to help protect them from deadly Parvovirus , per Dr Jean Dodd shot protcal .Learn to play and are stimulated with toys and learning objects placed in a runabout puppy pen. Mom sees them 5-6 times a day but is allowed to come out and socialize with us . Puppies get car rides to help them adjust to final go home ride.

oUR PUPPIES ARE RAISED WITH : Blanets are one end of whelp area and papers at other end to get

them  used to not pooping and peeing in their bed area, at 6 weeks they go to room that has a doggie door to learn to go out and do their business, this is important so customers can follow up and they find this helpful and housebreaking becomes easier for them.

Puppies get crate trained also at 6 weeks, if you buy a Pup from Bay Lake Doodles we ask you crate train in your bedroom so puppy can hear you see you at night, and when you leave house for errands.

DO NOT THINK YOU CAN LEAVE A PUP HOME ALONE, WE WILL NOT SELL YOU A PUPPY IF YOU DO THIS. WORKING PEOPLE MUST reconsider getting a puppy it is not fair to the puppy being gone 8 hrs a day

Week 6-8 People can see pups as long as they Sanitize hands feet and mask and pick out pup IF YOU HAVE PLACED A DEPOSIT ON A LITTER. IT IS TRUE SOME CUSTOMERS MAY CHANGE MIND ON A LITTER AND CHOOSE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER LITTER. wE CAN LET YOU KNOW IF WE HAVE AVAIL PUP.
